CoolRIOTS and Rebellions Sign MOU for Strategic Partnership to Bring Private, Energy-Efficient Enterprise AI to Singapore with Potential Expansion Across Southeast Asia
The partnership combines Rebellions' AI inference infrastructure with the CoolRIOTS Digital Employee platform to move organisations from AI experimentation to AI at work — securely, affordably, and where their data lives.
CoolRIOTS, the enterprise AI company behind the BeX AI Platform and CoolMOBS Digital Employee Cloud, and Rebellions, a leading AI semiconductor company specialising in high-performance, energy-efficient AI inference, today announced they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish a strategic partnership. The MOU was signed on 1 July 2026.
The partnership brings together Rebellions' AI infrastructure — including its NPU-based AI servers, SDKs and system-level expertise — and CoolRIOTS' AI execution platform, which enables organisations to design, deploy and manage governed Digital Employees across their business workflows. Rather than offering hardware alone, the two companies intend to deliver an integrated, full-stack enterprise AI capability: from the chip that runs the model to the Digital Employee that does the work.
Solving the three barriers to enterprise AI
Across the region, many AI initiatives stall before they reach production. Organisations face three recurring barriers: the cost of running AI, its energy consumption, and a lack of control over where AI runs and how data is handled. As enterprises and government-linked organisations accelerate their AI transformation, demand is growing for infrastructure that is powerful, efficient, cost-effective and suitable for private, on-premise and sovereign deployment.
Together, CoolRIOTS and Rebellions plan to explore integrated offerings that address these needs, including:
- Enterprise Private AI Appliances — packaged, on-premises AI with local support, ready for specific business use cases.
- Digital Employee AI Appliances — Rebellions infrastructure bundled with CoolRIOTS Digital Employees for document processing, enterprise knowledge search, compliance, claims, contract review, finance workflows and customer service.
- Sovereign AI Infrastructure — larger-scale deployments for organisations that require data residency, private infrastructure or telco and data centre hosting.
- Managed AI Services — AI workflow capabilities offered through flexible subscription or usage-based models.
